Do your bit! Don’t bin it, box it

You can help us do our bit for the environment, all you have to do is box up your empty cartridges and we will pick them up FREE of charge.

According to current statistics, only 10% of empty printer cartridges are being recycled – this means that 90% of these items are simple discarded and end up in landfill sites. As well as taking up room in our already limited landfill sites, it can take up to 1.5 litres of oil to produce a new toner cartridge from scratch. Clearly this is bad news for the environment.

Fortunately there’s a simple solution to it as most cartridges can be recycled. We have partnered with various manufacturers who clean, repair and resell the cartridges we send them, saving on valuable space in landfill sites and also on oil reserves.

In the last six months alone, over 50 million litres of oil have been saved due to the efforts of people recycling their cartridges. Help us to add to this figure today by asking us to pick up your empties.

Once you have 20 or more empties all you need to do is box them up, email sales@premier-office.co.uk and we will do the rest. Simple as that!

Shredding

Premier Office and Print Supplies pride ourselves on our additional services we provide to our customers. We understand how important being environmentally friendly and secure companies have to be in this day and age, so therefore we are delighted to offer our shredding service.

Shredding of confidential and sensitive information

Premier Office offers a mobile on site shredding service, offering highly secure destruction of confidential and sensitive information. The fact that shredding is carried out on site ensures no sensitive information leaves your premises in a legible state.

Before we leave your premises you will be issued with a certificate of destruction. This certificate is legally binding. All your company’s shredded information will then be recycled and born again as low-grade paper.

We offer two services:

Automatic

We install our proprietary lockable containers / consoles free of charge for the duration of service. We provide a service to shred on site and recycle the contents of the consoles at an agreed frequency of every 1, 2 or 4 weeks.

Purge

The one off, on site destruction and recycling of old files and archives.

Materials that we can shred

Our on site machinery is able to destroy paper and associated materials and we guarantee that the shredded product is delivered to the paper plant for recycling.

We can also shred CD’s, Videos and similar materials containing confidential or sensitive data. Please note this material is not recyclable.
