According to current statistics, only 10% of empty printer cartridges are being recycled – this means that 90% of these items are simple discarded and end up in landfill sites. As well as taking up room in our already limited landfill sites, it can take up to 1.5 litres of oil to produce a new toner cartridge from scratch. Clearly this is bad news for the environment.
Fortunately there’s a simple solution to it as most cartridges can be recycled. We have partnered with various manufacturers who clean, repair and resell the cartridges we send them, saving on valuable space in landfill sites and also on oil reserves.
In the last six months alone, over 50 million litres of oil have been saved due to the efforts of people recycling their cartridges. Help us to add to this figure today by asking us to pick up your empties.
Once you have 20 or more empties all you need to do is box them up, email sales@premier-office.co.uk and we will do the rest. Simple as that!
Before we leave your premises you will be issued with a certificate of destruction. This certificate is legally binding. All your company’s shredded information will then be recycled and born again as low-grade paper.
We can also shred CD’s, Videos and similar materials containing confidential or sensitive data. Please note this material is not recyclable.
